Jason's Birthday was on July 13th. He is now 8 years old. He will be baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints this Saturday. For our Family Home Evening lessons, we have been studying the teachings of Jesus by learning what the missionaries teach future members of the Church before they are baptized. During tonight's lesson I asked one of the boys to recite the fourth article of faith. Jason got it almost word for word.
We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the gospel are, first, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, second repentance, third, baptism, by emergency, for the remission of sins, fourth, layong on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Whether by emergency, or just at the next Stake Baptism day, we invite all who desire to come unto the Savior, to be immersed in the healing, cleansing, and redeeming waters of baptism.
Jason's baptism is on Saturday, August 2nd, 2008 at 5:00 pm.

Fuzzy Wuzzy
Growing up I leaarned a little poem:
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear
Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair
Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't very fuzzy was he?
I am not sure if I learned this from Mom or from one of my brothers or sisters. I am not sure what even brought it to my mind today. I rattled it off to the boys. At first they were like "what did you say?" I said it slowly. They liked it.
A few minutes later in the kitchen, Garrett said the poem back to me, but not quite the same words:
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear
Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair
Fuzzy Wuzzy had no fuzz
Then Garrett went on with this:
Fuzzy Wuzzy had a farm e i e i o
And on that farm .........
My four boys keep me laughing and smiling. That's good for me because often I forget. I love them all. Baby Anna, of course, has totally captured my heart. And Julie, I love Julie with an eternal love, just as she does me.
Garrett is a very full boy. He is full of goodness. He is full of smiles. He is full of peace (I feel it just being with him). He is full of love.
